About Me

I am the son of a shopkeeper! In my twenties, I took ownership of my family’s corner deli and beverage store. I turned our failing business into a success in under two years, then sold the store to move to the technology field. In a few months, I found my way to Nexcess, a web hosting firm located in Southfield, Michigan.

My expertise includes both channel and direct sales development, with a special emphasis on creating and delivering the messaging that drives new client and partner participation. Nexcess is one of the leading eCommerce hosting providers because we empower clients to grow the business they want. We provide stability and security, but keep complexity under the hood where it belongs.

With over a decade of experience selling everything from 50-cent pop cans to enterprise-level server clusters, I’ve learned a few things along the way. These days, my time is spent talking to freelance developers and agencies looking to grow their business with little-to-no sales experience. I do it because I enjoy it, but I designed this session for people that don’t enjoy it, but know they can’t ignore it any longer.

I spent the last seven years working my way up to the Vice President of Channel Sales at one of the USA's fastest growing, privately owned technology companies according to Inc. 

I possess an expertise in data center infrastructure operations as I managed various departments within the company.  Including the improvement of ordering and fulfillment operations to global marketing and promotional expansion and finally, participating in speaking engagements at the national and international levels.  I learned how technology can be applied to small and large eCommerce merchants worldwide. As a result of my work, I've established strong relationships with technical contributors and businesses in a variety of tech communities.
